This is my black and white sketch that is mostly made up of African designs and Middle Eastern instruments. This project was mostly easy to do, but some of it was a lot of concentration.
My black and white elephant sketch. I used my references to help me design the elephant's body interior. The elephant wasn't my choice, but then I got inspire from a picture I saw on the internet and decided to do it my own way.
For my first thumbnail I decided to mix my two ideas that are African and Middle Eastern. I begin to draw different instruments from my references that I choose. This one is my favorite one and it was really fun to draw and create something of my own.
For my second sketch I use ideas from my references and came up with this sketch. I learn a lot about black and white drawings and its coming very well, I hope to improve my skills in this sketches.
For my fourth sketch I took one of my references and put in the two topics I picked. This one was very challenging and a little hard to draw but all in all I got it done and it came out pretty well.
For my fifth sketch I chose an elephant. For the elephant's body I chose designs that I use for my references and mixed it up from there. I enjoyed drawing the elephant and I'm glad I chose the elephant for my thumbnail.
For my sixth sketch I chose an very interesting horn instrument. In this thumbnail I created something new and in my own way. I'm glad I chose this one and made it something fun and fresh.
On my last sketch I decided to draw two violin looking instruments. This was hard for me and at first I wasn't sure if it would come out right. This assignment all together was enjoyable and new to me. I hope to improve my skills in black and white drawings and in other things as well.
My final sketch that I present to you. By one of my favorite projects that Iv'e done. Trying to cut out the pieces were difficult and hard. Figuring out the pieces to cut was even more hard to do. This project taught me a lot and I really needed this assignment in order to learn more art skills.
